The sixth annual Clergy Appreciation Lunch was held at Covenant Shores on Oct. 24. More than 100 Shores residents sat with pastors from the congregations they attend in the area.

The theme of the event was “A Time to Give Thanks.” Each clergy in attendance was given a Starbucks gift card and framed art by renowned calligrapher Timothy Botts.

The event is sponsored by the Spiritual Life Committee and the chaplain’s office. See www.covenantshores.org for more on the Mercer Island retirement community.
