The Mercer Island girls golf team earned third place at the 3A state tournament on May 22 in Lacey.

The Islanders finished with a total of 677 team points. Mercer Island golfer Gihoe Seo finished tied for third place individually, totaling 145 strokes during the two-day tournament.
