Mercer Island Football Club teams net championships

Boys and girls soccer teams from Mercer Island Football Club dominated at the Washington Youth Soccer Founders Cup Tournament this year. Mercer Island Football Club produced two championship teams at the gold level (the boys 2009 team coached by Aaron Byers, and boys 2010 team coached by Colin Rigby). The girls 2009 team (coached by Elliot Fauske) was a finalist in the gold division championship, losing in penalty kicks. The girls 2010 team (coached by Francois Delafosse) was a semifinalist in the silver division.
