The city will hold its annual fall recycling event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 17 at the South Luther Burbank Parking Lot, 2040 84th Ave. SE.

Residents are invited to safely dispose of old equipment, electronics, appliances and other household items. Exact items to be accepted are still being confirmed. Check this link for a general list: https://www.mercerisland.gov/publicworks/page/fall-recycling-event

Event funding is provided by the Washington State Department of Ecology, King County Solid Waste Division and Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County.
