Koenig will speak at Rotary meeting on Oct. 5

John M. Koenig will discuss “The 7 Habits of Successful Diplomats” at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s Oct. 5 meeting.

Koenig has been an instructor at the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies since 2017. A member of the U.S. Foreign Service for more than 30 years, Koenig was the United States ambassador to Cyprus from August 2012 to July 2015. He was appointed by President Obama to spearhead U.S. support of Cyprus settlement efforts in close coordination with the United Nations and the conflicting parties.
