MIHS students shine at state journalism conference

Mercer Island High School Islander newspaper and ISLA yearbook staff members notched a host of awards at the Washington Journalism Education Association state conference on March 4 at Mountlake Terrace High School.

Islander award winners:

Taylor Holshouser, Newspaper Layout: Honorable Mention

Kyle Gerstel, Review Writing: Excellent

ISLA award winners:
