Theft: It was reported that two young females stole several makeup items valued at approximately $500 from a store in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast.

April 2

Arrest: In the 4800 block of 88th Avenue Southeast, a subject was arrested and booked into Issaquah Jail for malicious mischief for damaging a laptop during a domestic altercation.

April 3

Warrant arrest: A subject turned himself in to the Mercer Island Police Department on a warrant for first-degree driving while license suspended and he was booked into Issaquah Jail. According to the Washington State Attorneys website, the gross misdemeanor carries a maximum penalty of 364 days in jail and a $5,000 fine. “While the maximum is not typically given to individuals convicted of this, there is a mandatory 10 days in jail with a conviction, which also comes with a one-year license suspension which will be added to your current suspension. Your license is suspended in the 1 (degree) when you have been classified as a habitual traffic offender,” the site added.

April 4

Warrant arrest: After police stopped a driver for having no license plate in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street, the subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant for fourth-degree assault domestic violence. In Washington state, the gross misdemeanor and a conviction can result in up to 364 days of jail time, loss of gun rights, probation and a $5,000 fine, according to the Beckwith DV Law website.

April 5

Hit and run: In the 8800 block of Southeast 40th Street, a suspect fled the scene after a three-vehicle hit-and-run traffic accident. The suspect’s vehicle was impounded for a search warrant.

Indecent exposure: After an unidentified male suspect exposed himself to a woman while they were inside Walgreens in the 7700 block of Southeast 27th Street, the man left the scene in a vehicle.

Robbery: A suspect assaulted a subject and stole a purse at Luther Burbank Park in the 2000 block of 84th Avenue Southeast.
