Five candidates running for 41st Legislative District positions

As the May 4-8 filing week ended, five candidates are on the list to run for a pair of 41st Legislative District positions in the fall general election.

For the State Representative No. 1 position, there’s current seat-holder Janice Zahn of Bellevue (D), Alex Tsimerman of Bellevue (Standup-America Party) and Elle Nguyen of Mercer Island (R).

For the State Representative No. 2 position, there’s current seat-holder My-Linh Thai of Seattle (D) and Michael Rosen of Mercer Island (Independent).

A primary will be held on Aug. 4 and general election day is Nov. 3.

The 41st Legislative District covers the entirety of Mercer Island and Newcastle, with portions of Bellevue, Renton, Issaquah and Sammamish.
