Xenia Kachur will present a “Brain Health Workshop: How to Stay Sharp, Energized & Focused After 50” at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s meeting on July 7 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center, 8236 SE 24th St.

The main meeting begins at 12:30 p.m.; socializing is from noon to 12:30 p.m. Guests are always welcome and there is no fee to attend. A catered lunch is available for $25, or attendees can bring their own meal.

In this engaging, science-backed presentation, TEDx speaker and Mindeo CEO Kachur reveals why brain fog, forgetfulness and low energy aren’t just “inevitable parts of aging,” according to her bio. Drawing on her background in biomedical engineering and a decade of cognitive research, she will demystify the science of brain health and share real stories of Seattleites who have successfully reclaimed their mental clarity, the bio adds. The 25-minute talk will be followed by an interactive Q&A session.
