July 1
Warrant arrest: A subject who was found sleeping in a park in the 7700 block of Sunset Highway was arrested for a Seattle Municipal Court warrant for property destruction. The subject was booked into King County Jail.
July 2
Theft: A subject who committed theft at Walgreens in the 7700 block of Southeast 27th Street was located at the light rail station and positively identified by the reporting party. The subject was booked into the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) jail in Des Moines.
July 3
Theft: Someone stole a bicycle with an estimated value of $200 from The Mercer apartment homes in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street. There was no suspect information available.
July 4
Theft: Two adult female suspects stole $714 in skin care items from CVS in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast. Officers conducted area checks and didn’t locate the suspects. The case is still under investigation.
Theft: A subject was cited for third-degree theft and released at the scene after swiping several food and candy items from a business in the 7700 block of Southeast 27th Street.
Burglary: Burglars forced open the sliding barn door of the Mercer Island Farmers Market’s storage shed and stole about $1,500 worth of items in the 3200 block of 78th Avenue Southeast. Items were listed as office equipment, fan lights, a cone cart, misters, a booth wagon, a duffle bag, a blowhorn and more. There is no suspect information available and no camera footage.
July 6
Vehicle prowl: In the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street, someone broke into a motor vehicle, stole $1,100 in items (tools, a knife, an empty glock magazine, earmuffs and a portable breathalyzer) and damaged a window. There is no suspect information available.
