Ryan Hall joins Rain City Water Polo coaching staff | Sports brief

Ryan Hall, the current Mercer Island girls water polo coach, has joined the Rain City Water Polo to coach for the 2012 summer session.
Hall, who coached the Mercer Island boys water polo team in 2010, is a Bellevue native and graduate of Newport High School. He was the Washington state MVP in 2002 and 2003, attending the University of Redlands after graduation.
Halls tarted coaching when he was 17, working with the Midlakes water polo summer program as a coach at Newport Hills in 2005, followed by serving as an assistant coach at the University of Redlands in 2009. He helped lead the Mercer Island girls team to a third place state finish this spring and was recognized as the coach of the year.
Rain City is a non-profit water polo club for boys and girls ages 8 through 18. The clubs goal is to promote the sport and provide training and competition for all skill and experience levels.
