Farmers Market winds down eighth season

Sunday, Oct. 11, marked the end of the regular season for the popular Mercer Island Farmers Market. As usual, a special one-day “Harvest Market” is scheduled just before Thanksgiving on Nov. 22.

The nonprofit market has run throughout the summer for eight years, every Sunday at Mercerdale Park, and features a wide-range of regional producers. Residents can avoid a trip off the Island, buy farm-fresh produce direct from the grower, and support local businesses. For more information, email info@mifarmersmarket.org.
