I am a tenant of the Shorewood Heights rental property on Mercer Island. Having lived at Shorewood for more than 14 years, I know the inconvenience that snowstorms can cause. I can therefore honestly say that in all these years, I have never seen a better prepared maintenance crew than the one currently employed by “Pinnacle,” the Management Company representing the new owners. Even before the snow began falling in earnest, maintenance began applying rock-salt to Shorewood Road the approaching road to the property. The road is a steady uphill grade, hardly noticeable in normal weather, but an icy graveyard for cars during the type of storm we just had. In the past, this road has been littered with abandoned cars and remained unusable until the snow and ice began to melt. Thanks to a few dedicated men who worked into the night on Monday and very early on Tuesday morning, traffic flowed unhindered and enabled tenants to enter and leave the Shorewood property without difficulty.
Thank you, Shorewood, for this much appreciated service.
