Mercer Island fireworks stand open for business | Island Scenes

The fireworks stand on Mercer Island, run by the Mercer Island Kiwanis, VFW and Masons is open for business. The stand will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day through the Fourth of July.

On Friday, June 28 Scott Anderson, a member of the Masons, said business was steady, but they expected as the day went on fro things to pick up.

Fireworks are only legal to use on Mercer Island on July 4 from 11 a.m. through 11 p.m.
