Foggy conditions have gripped Mercer Island and most of Western Washington for almost a week and are expected to continue.

Low clouds, fog and poor visibility were expected to continue Monday, Jan. 21 until around noon when the temperature was expected to begin to warm to the mid-30s.

The fog, which has covered the area since late last week, is expected to dissipate by  Wednesday when rain moves in.

Until further notice, there is a stage 1 burn ban for King County.
