Betty Jo Wolfe

Betty Jo Wolfe died this past Friday, May 17, 2013 in her 78th year, from digestive complications and several chronic ailments.

A long time Mercer Island resident, she raised four children on the island, down at the Old’s Homestead Farm, Appleton.

Betty was a tournament Bridge player, world-wide traveler, community activist, and a supporter of the arts. She especially enjoyed the theater: in the audience and on the stage.

Besides her three daughters, and one son; she is survived by six grandsons and four granddaughters. She will be missed by her family and friends, but leaves this world a better place than she found it. She’s bidding her hand now at Saint Peter’s table.
