YFS Pumpkin sales continue

There’s still time to purchase glass pumpkins for the annual Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser for Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (MIYFS). Though Halloween is over, autumn is well underway and the holidays are just around the corner.

Proceeds directly support MIYFS, the city of Mercer Island’s Human Services Department, which touches every member of the community through counselors in the schools, senior outreach and advocacy, affordable family and individual counseling, arrested youth and early intervention programs, family assistance and the Thrift Shop.

The fundraiser will continue through November at these locations: Aljoya, Banner Bank, Cascade Frames, Chamber of Commerce, Mercer Island Community and Event Center, David Weed, DDS, Island Books, Mercer Island Florist, MIYFS at Luther Burbank Park and Yogabliss.

MIYFS partners with Joni Johnson and Roberta Wyde, who are both Islanders, and several of their glass artists colleagues. For more, call 206-275-7754.
