Gillis wins coach of the year honors

In her first season as the Mercer Island girls lacrosse head coach, Lyndsey Gillis was named the 2017 varsity coach of the year by the Washington State Girls Lacrosse Association.
“I’m humbled … I couldn’t be more excited about joining the Mercer Island lacrosse community and look forward to continuing my work with our fabulous young women,” she said.
