The Mercer Island Islanders girls basketball team registered a 50-41 victory against the Bellevue Wolverines in a matchup between KingCo 3A rivals on Jan. 26 at Mercer Island High School. The Islanders improved their overall record to 5-10 with the victory. Angelina Barokas scored a team-high 23 points and Annabelle Gersch added 19 points in the win.
