All-stars: District beats council in first softball game

The Mercer Island School District recently beat the Mercer Island City Council in their first-ever softball game at Aubrey Davis Park. While the district beat the city 9 to 5 in only four innings, “we still had a ton of fun,” said City Manager Julie Underwood on her Facebook page.
