Yuasa wins judo gold medal at national championships

Mercer Island High School sophomore Tegan Yuasa earned a gold medal in the Cadet -50Kg division at the USA Judo Youth National Championships on March 10 at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was the second consecutive year Yuasa earned first place in the -50Kg division. Yuasa will compete at the 2019 Pan American Cadet Championships on July 10 in Cali, Colombia.
