Boys swim and dive team makes a splash in victory over Bellevue

The Mercer Island boys swim and dive team opened its new season with a 129-51 victory over Bellevue on Dec 5.

Matt Williamson, Collin Ralston, Matthew Shield and Evan Liu finished first in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:40.25.

Shield finished first in the 50-yard free (22.66) and the 100-yard free (51:39).

Williamson finished first in the 100-yard fly with a time of 58.07.

Emmett Ralston won the 500-yard free with a time of 5:16.59.

The 200-yard free relay team of Liu, Brooks Enge, David Garton and William Thomas won with a time of 1:42.47.

Collin Ralston won the 100-yard back with a time of 55.11.

Liu won the 100-yard breast with a time of 1:03.78.

The 400-yard free relay team of Williamson, Oliver Schaaf, Shield and Collin Ralston finished first with a time of 3:30.67.

Gabriel Neale won the diving competition with a score of 209.25.
