Earlier this spring, the city embarked on the design of a renovated website with improved functionality, more powerful search capabilities and a new look.

The COVID-19 pandemic, however, interrupted most regular work, including the project. Now, the refurbished website is complete, and is under the domain name www.mercerisland.gov.

The old site won’t function for much longer, so the city is encouraging users to familiarize themselves with new navigation features.

All email addresses of city officials will also change to first.last@mercerisland.gov. This transition, though, will not be implemented immediately. Messages to old addresses will be auto-forwarded to new ones in the interim.
