State patrol makes reckless driving arrest on MI

Washington State Patrol arrested an 18-year-old for reckless driving on the morning of Oct. 24 after he rammed into a wall and sculptures at 77th Avenue Southeast and Sunset Way on Mercer Island.
Mercer Island Police Department assisted with the incident, which occurred at about 12:15 a.m. State patrol received the call at 12:21 a.m. and one sergeant and two troopers were soon on scene.
“The vehicle came off the ramp at a high rate and struck the structure,” state patrol said about the driver exiting Interstate 90. After being cleared by the fire department, the driver was booked into King County Jail.
At press time, it is unknown in which city the driver resides.
