Bryce Lawrence Holland, Jr.

1953-2025

Bryce Lawrence Holland, Jr., died peacefully in May 2025, surrounded and supported by the love of his family and friends.

The son of Bryce Sr. and Marianne and the brother of Jed, Andy, Melissa, and Dave, Bryce was born in 1953 in San Antonio, TX, and raised in Greenwich, CT. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College, studied at Cambridge University on a Rotary Club scholarship, and earned graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School (JD) and Wharton School (MBA).

Bryce had a long, successful career as a business lawyer in Seattle, first at Bogle & Gates, mid-career at Dorsey & Whitney (where he became the head of the Seattle office), and finally at Fox Rothschild.

Bryce was married to Robin (McCann), the love of his life, for 49 years. They raised their three sons on Mercer Island, enjoying the embrace of their supportive community, reveling in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and challenging themselves with active travels around the world.

Bryce is survived by his wife Robin, sons Preston (Jessica Sherrow) and Kipling (Elena Winters), daughter-in-law Davin, and his 7 grandchildren: Hattie, Miles, and Sylvie (Preston & Jessica); Lilly and Isla (Kipling & Elena); and Asta and Marielle (Davin). Bryce was predeceased by his beloved oldest son, Bryce lll, also known as Trey.
