April 20

Forgery: In the 3000 block of 77th Avenue Southeast, someone fraudulently wrote a company check for $3,980. There is a possible suspect, but no arrest has been made.

April 22

Theft: An unknown subject stole three Bang Energy drinks — a loss of $10.77 — from Metropolitan Market in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast.

April 23

Possible overdose: A subject with a Seatac Police Department warrant was located in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street, released and transported to Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue for a possible overdose.

April 24

Theft: A resident in the 8200 block of East Mercer Way reported that someone stole an e-bike and its charging cables, a camping tent and tools — totaling $2,750 in loss — from their unsecured detached garage. There is no known suspect.

April 25

DUI: Police arrested a minor for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 5400 block of East Mercer Way. The minor was released to their mother after processing.

Property damage: In the 6600 block of East Mercer Way, someone caused approximately $1,500 in damage when they threw rocks onto the property and broke two windows and the screen door of a cabin.

April 27

Warrant arrest: The Mercer Island Police Department (MIPD) received a call from the Kirkland City Jail and noted that a subject was in custody for a MIPD third-degree theft warrant. MIPD confirmed the warrant and the subject was transported and booked into Issaquah City Jail.
