June 21
Warrant arrest: Mercer Island police booked a warrant subject for second-degree driving while license suspended into the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) jail in Des Moines.
June 22
Warrant arrest: Following a traffic stop in the 9800 block of eastbound Interstate 90, a passenger was identified to have a misdemeanor warrant for third-degree driving while license suspended out of the King County Sheriff’s Office. Police arrested the subject, who was medically declined at Issaquah Jail.
June 23
Fraud: A resident in the 4300 block of 88th Avenue Southeast was defrauded of $190,000 through a cryptocurrency exchange. There is no suspect information and the case remains under investigation.
June 25
Theft: A patron left his wallet on a table at Homegrown in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast and later returned to find that $1,300 had been stolen. There are no known suspects or camera footage.
June 26
Theft: Mercer Island police took a theft report of a stolen rear license plate that was swiped in Tukwila. Police emailed a form to the supervisor at NORCOM (the consolidated 911 call-taking and dispatching communications center) for entry into the stolen license plate database. There is no suspect information.
June 27
Motorcycle theft: Someone stole a motorcycle from a driveway in the 7400 block of 85th Place Southeast. A cycle key that was left on the kitchen counter was missing. There is no suspect information and the case is still under investigation.
June 30
Theft: In the 9000 block of West Shorewood Drive, someone stole a package containing Apple AirPods worth $198.53. There is no suspect information.
Warrant arrest: In the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street, Mercer Island police arrested a subject for an Auburn warrant for fourth-degree domestic violence assault and third-degree malicious mischief. The subject was booked into SCORE jail.
