Islanders enjoy Summer Celebration!

The City of Mercer Island’s annual summer extravaganza, Summer Celebration!, celebrated its 20th anniversary this year.

The weekend event featured popular events such as the 3-on-3 basketball tournament and the community parade, along with the return of old traditions like the tennis tournament. The theme for the parade was “Parade of Decades.” Saturday’s event was capped off with fireworks seen from Luther Burbank Park.
