The Mercer Island High School (MIHS) Robotics team took first place at the PNW District Sammamish First Robotics event that occurred from March 20-22 at Sammamish High School in Bellevue. Additionally, the locals received the FRC Judges Award, a special recognition in the FIRST Robotics Competition that allows the judging panel to honor a team for unique efforts, exceptional performance and special dynamics that deserve recognition. It highlights standout characteristics or achievements observed during the competition.
