Classic rockers Dynamite Supreme will headline the Aug. 26 Mostly Music in the Park event and will be joined by opener Abby London under the Mercerdale Park pergola from 7-8:30 p.m.

Islanders are invited to bring lawn chairs or a blanket and dinner to-go from a favorite local restaurant to the event.

“After last year’s cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, city staff and the Mercer Island Arts Council worked to bring new energy into Mostly Music in the Park for the 2021 series,” the city said in its weekly newsletter. “There’s also plenty of space to spread out at Mercerdale Park – come celebrate safely (and consider wearing a mask). Let’s continue to partner as a community to reduce the spread of COVID-19.”
