Mostly Music in the Park continues at 7 p.m. on July 26 and with SwingSet, a contemporary show band. Blue Angels airshow: The Washington State Department of Transportation will close all lanes of I-90 across Lake Washington several times from Thursday, Aug. 2, through Sunday, Aug. 5, to accommodate air show practices and performances by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels for this year’s Seafair festivities. Youth Theatre Northwest: The 24th Summer Stock Season will begin in early July and run through Labor Day weekend with three productions over a 10-week timeline. The plays are: “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” (Aug. 3 through Aug. 11) and “Once Upon A Mattress” (Aug. 24 through Sept. 2). Each show will feature a new Thursday, midday performance.     Solemates: Four miles of walk and talk followed by a stop at a coffee shop. From 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Wednesdays. No walks in June. Meet in the lobby at the CCMV. The fee is $2 per person, per walk.

    Grocery shopping transportation: Pick up every Wednesday at your home, take you to one grocery store and a quick errand on the Island. Will carry your groceries into the house. Call 236-3456 and leave a message by 4 p.m. the day before shopping. The cost is $1 round trip.

    Meals on Wheels: Senior Services’ Meals on Wheels program offers nutritious, home-delivered frozen meals to home-bound seniors. We have recently replaced several less popular meals with new selections. For more information about this program please contact Jackie at the CCMV at 236-3545.
