First Friday ArtWalk set for May 3

Mercer Island’s First Friday ArtWalk will take place from 5-8 p.m. on May 3 at a host of locations.

With the support of the Mercer Island Community Fund, the organizers celebrate the launch of the spring season’s shows and events with a new location marker and poster for May and future openings and events.

The poster features the artwork of Mercer Island artist and author Lucia Neagu, whose show will run from April 29-June 21 at the Mercer Island Community and Events Center. An opening and reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. on May 2 and is a retrospective as well as featuring new works that will be available for purchase. The event is sponsored by Mercer Island Visual Arts League (MIVAL).
