Academy Schools will be holding its 2013 Summer Academy program, an inclusive day program that supports academic and social skills development over the summer months when skills regression is common.
Academy Schools is a recipient of a grant from this year’s Autism Speaks Baker Summer Camp Program. With this support from Autism Speaks, the nonprofit will be able to provide financial aid to children with autism spectrum disorders attending camp.
This year’s Summer Academy is comprised of six sessions and runs from June 24 to Aug. 9. (There is no camp the week of July 1-5.) The school offers classes for students with developmental and emotional disabilities such as those with autism spectrum disorder.
