Alison Van Gorp and Sarah Bluvas will discuss “Planning for Mercer Island’s Future” at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s March 1 meeting.

Van Gorp is the deputy director of community planning and development, and Bluvas is the economic development coordinator for the city of Mercer Island.

They will discuss the upcoming process to update Mercer Island’s Comprehensive Plan, the city’s vision and roadmap for managing future growth, and how to get engaged in public participation throughout the process.
