City seeks advisory board members
The city of Mercer Island is seeking a diverse range of community members to volunteer to serve on several advisory boards that help shape the Island’s future. Appointments to boards and commissions are made by a vote of the city council during a regularly scheduled meeting.
Opportunities to serve currently include the: Arts Council (two positions), Design Commission (two positions), Parks & Recreation Commission (one position) and Utility Board (three positions).Some board and commission positions have professional or technical requirements.
