April 22

Fraud: A resident in the 4100 block of 85th Avenue Southeast was the victim of an out-of-state check fraud for a total loss of $10,000.

April 21

Theft: Someone stole a purse that was left on a bench at Luther Burbank Park that resulted in the loss of passports and other government documents.

April 20

Theft: In the 2400 block of 64th Avenue Southeast, someone prowled a vehicle and swiped a backpack — containing laptops — that was left inside.

April 19

Trash-throwing: In the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast, one subject accused another of littering and threw the trash at the other person. The accused litterer alleged that the trash-throwing was assault.

April 18

Fraud: A resident in the 4200 block of 85th Avenue Southeast was the victim of check fraud, which resulted in $1,000 loss.

April 17

Malicious mischief: Someone carved the word “cheater” into a victim’s vehicle doors in the 3500 block of 88th Avenue Southeast resulting in $4,000 damage.

April 16

Business rummaged: An unknown subject entered a business in the 4000 block of Island Crest Way, rummaged through several rooms but stole nothing.
