Students and families at Islander Middle School can help the Seattle homeless by dropping off new and gently used pairs of shoes until Nov. 30.

Students and families at Islander Middle School can help the Seattle homeless by dropping off new and gently used pairs of shoes until Nov. 30.

Redeeming Soles, a local nonprofit, has distributed over 29,000 pairs of shoes to the homeless community and hopes to continue to do so.

A collection bin is set up in the IMS front office and any new or gently used footwear is accepted, specifically Redeeming Soles is looking for men’s footwear.
