It’s Grad Grams time again.

Mercer Island residents can celebrate a graduating fifth grader, eighth grader or senior with a special congratulatory message. A Mercer Island community tradition for almost 50 years, Grad Grams are personalized, printed on parchment paper and mailed on the sender’s behalf to the student’s home. Each Grad Gram is $8 and deadline to order is May 30.

Proceeds from Grad Grams sales support the Mercer Island Community Scholarship Program, run by the PTA Council. This annual scholarship program honors graduating Mercer Island High School seniors, identified by the school’s teaching staff for excellence in character.

Grad Gram orders and donations to the scholarship program are tax deductible and eligible for corporate match.
