Know anyone stranded in Europe due to Iceland’s volcano?

The Reporter is looking for Islanders with family members stranded in Europe due to yesterday’s volcanic eruption in Iceland. According to news reports, flights out of all airports in the U.K., Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and other North European countries have been cancelled indefinitely until conditions are ensured for save travel. Aviation experts say that, due to the plume of volcanic material above northern Europe, this could take up to days.

If you know of anyone who is stuck in Europe, trying to get back to Seattle or someone whose flight plans to Europe have been delayed due to the volcano, please contact the Reporter at 232-1215 or ecelms@mi-reporter.com to share your story.
