Kyle Weiss, 14, of Boy Scout Troop 647, was awarded his Eagle Scout rank on June 18. The Eagle Scout rank is attained by earning at least 21 merit badges, as well as demonstrating leadership and service to the community. Weiss is an active member of the Order of the Arrow and was a crew leader on the Philmont backpacking expedition in New Mexico this summer.
