Attire of a salesman: A man was reported selling hats and balloons while wearing only flesh-colored bikini bottoms in the 2000 block of 84th Avenue Southeast.

Fraud: Some residents in the 2400 block of 76th Avenue Southeast reported discovering their cell phone numbers had been ported to another cellular provider.

Theft: It was reported that items were stolen from a bank of mailboxes in the 4000 block of East Mercer Way.

Welfare check: It was reported that a subject was seen semi-conscious in his parked vehicle in the 2000 block of 84th Avenue Southeast.

Panhandling: Complaints were issued regarding panhandling in the 7700 block of Southeast 27th Street.

A whole lot of barking going on: It was reported that there was an issue between neighbors about a possibly aggressive dog in the 6100 block of 85th Place Southeast.

Burglary: It was reported that someone broke into multiple storage units in the 7800 block of Southeast 27th Street.

Dog rescued: A civilian boater rescued a dog from Lake Washington as the Mercer Island Marine Patrol arrived after receiving multiple 911 calls.

Disturbance: Officers assisted with a disgruntled former employee of a business in the 2400 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Screams in the night: There were reports of frequent screaming heard late at night in the 2500 block of 81st Avenue Southeast.

Online blackmail: An officer assisted a resident in the 9000 block of East Shorewood Drive with options of how to protect oneself against online blackmail.

Fake cop: It was reported that a subject was leaving fake business cards claiming to be with the Mercer Island Police Department in the 9000 block of East Shorewood Drive.
