Mercer Island executive named to Nonprofit Times top 50 list

Mercer Island resident Paul Shoemaker was named to The NonProfit Times' “Power & Influence Top 50” for the second year in a row.

Mercer Island resident Paul Shoemaker was named to The NonProfit Times’ “Power & Influence Top 50” for the second year in a row.

Shoemaker, the executive connector for Social Venture Partners, was named to the national list, which includes names like Bill Gates and the CEO of the YMCA.

Social Venture Partners connects people and organizations, with a network of more than 2,300 donors in 29 cities across the world. The goal is to help individuals get the most out of their donations, and strengthen nonprofits.

Shoemaker, who has helped run SVP for the last 15 years, is also a local high school basketball referee.
