The critically acclaimed and audience-beloved play “Puffs: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic” captivates audiences with its unique blend of humor, heart, wizardry, spellbinding charm and clever wit promising to be an unforgettable theatrical experience.
Mercer Island High School Drama will perform the Matt Cox-written play at 7 p.m. Jan. 30-Feb. 1 and Feb. 6-8 and 2 p.m. Feb. 1 and 8 in the school performing arts center. Daniela Melgar will direct the play, which will feature two casts (We Are Not a Threat and Please Be Our Friend).
“Puffs” tells the story of the underdog heroes at a certain well-known school of magic and magic, offering a fresh and humorous perspective on the fantastical world that has captivated millions. Whatever house you are in, all audience members are sure to thoroughly enjoy this funny, quirky, irreverent show. A content warning notes that there will be adult language and some references to dark themes.
