Sewer line construction budget set

The City Council set the construction budget of the Sewer Lake Line and Pump Station No. 4 Replacement Project at $24.2 million last week.

The bid for the project was awarded in December 2008. This was the final decision that Councilmembers had to approve before the project could proceed.

Work on the lake line is expected to start in early July, when construction is permitted on Lake Washington. Pump Station construction will begin later this spring. More information is available at: www.mercergov.org/lakeline.
