Fraud: In the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast, a caller reported that someone modified his business phone account online. There was no financial loss.

Theft: Someone stole two packages from the mailroom of an apartment complex in the 2600 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

April 23

Fraud: A resident in the 9600 block of Southeast 36th Street reported receiving a call from someone impersonating a Mercer Island Police Department sergeant asking for gift cards. There was no financial loss.
