Pettigrew will speak at Rotary meeting on April 27

Eric Pettigrew, vice president of government relations and outreach for the Seattle Kraken hockey team, will speak at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s April 27 meeting.

Pettigrew has a diverse background of work experience in all levels of government, the private sector, and the nonprofit sector. He served as deputy chief of staff for Public Safety to former Seattle Mayor Norm Rice. He also worked as a recruiter to increase diversity in the University of Washington School of Social Work. He was also the former director of the Minority Youth Health Project, which worked to reduce teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease rates in Seattle.
