Rep. Tana Senn and Judy Clibborn lead August primaries

Primary results are in and Rep. Tana Senn holds a steady 20 percent lead over her Republican opponent, Bill Stinson. Full results below

Islanders Tana Senn and Judy Clibborn are the apparent winners in the race for State Representative, Pos. 1 and Pos. 2, respectively   in the 41st Legislative District. The vote tallies as of Friday, Aug. 8  at 4:30 p.m. are listed below:

For Representative Position No. 1:

• Bill Stinson  (Republican), 39.43 percent (9,393 votes)

• Tana Senn  (Democrat), 60.42 percent (14,391 votes)

•  Write in votes: 15

For Representative Position No. 2:

• Alex O’Neil  (No party preference), 24.25 percent   (5,265 votes)

• Judy Clibborn,   (Democrat),  74.39 percent (14,523 votes)

• Write in votes: 212

District Court

Northeast Electoral District Judge Position No. 3:

• Marcus Naylor, 19.63 percent (13.109 votes)

• Rick Leo, 18.98 percent (12,675 votes)

• Lisa O’Toole, 61 percent (40,736 votes)

U.S. Congress 9th Congressional District:

• Adam Smith  (Democrat), 63.60 percent (50,257 votes)

• Don Rivers  (Prefers Democrat), 5.82 percent (4,596 votes)

• Mark Greene  (Citizens Party), 2.92 percent (2,304 votes)

• Doug Basler  (Republican), 27.48      percent (21,714 votes)

King County Prosecuting Attorney

• Dan Satterberg  (Republican), 96.94 percent (201,294 votes)

 

The election results will be certified on Aug. 19.

The November General Election, is Tuesday, Nov. 4.
