April 29

Warrant: A subject, who was being released from the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) jail in Des Moines, had a warrant with the Mercer Island Police Department and was booked by the local police.

April 30

Lost property: In the 9100 block of Southeast 42nd Street, a resident said his son lost an instrument they rented within the last year.

May 1

Guns disposal: A resident in the 4400 block of East Mercer Way turned in her father’s guns to the Mercer Island Police Department for disposal.

May 3

Theft: Someone stole an electric bike from a resident’s storage unit in the 3000 block of 80th Avenue Southeast.

May 5

Fraud: A resident in the 2200 block of 72nd Avenue Southeast received a letter from her title company stating that she and her husband had an intention to sell their property. There was no financial loss at press time.
