Attendees at the city of Mercer Island Healthy Youth Initiative-hosted event will hear from Island students about challenges and pressures facing today’s youth; discuss ideas to best support Mercer Island youth mental health; and learn how to have important conversations with your teen/parent about health — stress, drugs/alcohol, mental health, expectations and more.

‘LITTLE WOMEN’

Mercer Island High School’s Drama department will perform “Little Women,” the loved and famous story by American author Lousia May Alcott, from Feb. 1-3 and Feb. 8-10 at the school. The story follows the four March daughters — Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy — as they grow up, fall in love and face life.
