Mercer Island School District classes and activities are cancelled for Friday, Jan. 20
At 5:30 p.m. Thursday, the Mercer Island School District website indicates that district schools will be closed and all activities are cancelled for Friday, Jan. 20. This closure is the third consecutive day that the school day has been cancelled this week.
Mercer Island public school students did not attend classes last Monday, Jan. 16, due to the Martin Luther King holiday. They attended school on Tuesday, Jan. 17, after a two hour late-start delay.
